Sadly, another boutique is shuttering under the pressure of a weak economy. Presse Boutique at 326 South La Brea Avenue , just south of West 3rd Street, will be closing in the next couple weeks.

We spoke to co-owner Zoe Schaeffer, who helmed the shop with Renee Roman Klein, and she told Racked that the two will still be working together, but building their consultant business: "We need to do something where we're bringing money in and not having to put a lot of money out."

As a result, there will be some sort of sale of its merch (labels such as Proenza Schouler, Superfine, Rose), but also of its furniture, which various interior designers are already interested in. [RackedWire]
