Hand-sewn painter boyfriend jean from Ron Herman Jean shop left; Hysteric Glamour vintage repair jean in indigo, right
Ron Herman's Jean Shop is taking the boyfriend jean into its own hands, literally. The upscale trendy chain has released a handful of distressed and re-sewn jeans made from Japanese denim, only available at Ron Herman in-store and online. The pair left, shown above, has also been hand-painted. There are other exclusive boyfriend styles from other labels, including the vintage repair jean, shown right, from Hysteric Glamour. Of course, all this handy work will cost you—$528, to be exact, but for a pair of shorts, which are $196. Too much for many shoppers' wallets these days, but, if nothing else, all the images can aid in a weekend DIY project. [RackedWire]
