So what was Michelle Obama wearing last night? In what La Vie en Rose characterizes as her "Urbane yet real, elegant yet approachable" style, "our new First Lady chose a black and red Narciso Rodriguez dress from the New York designer’s Spring 2009 RTW collection, set off with a black cardigan and kitten heels, diamond earrings and bangles." Per usual, daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, complemented in red and black, respectively, as did President-elect Barack Obama in black suit and striped red tie.
