Lots of sparkling, shimmery legs came out for the launch of LA label Costume Dept.'s capsule collection for Revolve Saturday afternoon, which meandered into the night with seemingly endless bottles of Prosecco flowing, DJ Posso, and on-the-spot screen-printed scarves by Hit + Run. Despite the profusion of bubbly beverages, the only casualty was a couple of mannequins which fell, and were quickly reinstated to their poses.
As far as the collection, it stayed true to the label's attainable price-points, ranging from $48-$99, with most on the lower end. One all-over sequin-on-lace pair shined gloriously; another zig-zagged on white; gray-ish/blue tie-dye offered a soft approach; another was denim-esque, while a slick navy pair glistened; and, of course, black was on hand. Leggings played heavily in the crowd (male and female, alike), some sheer with ornate appliqué, worn boldly over black bikini bottoms.
