LA might not have gotten the fanfare of Simon Doonan's presence or Tom Brokaw ceremoniously cutting a ribbon or (let's face it) the stupendously spectacular windows like Barneys in NYC, but the Peace + Love: Have a Hippie Holiday windows at the Beverly Hills store are still pretty amazing—colorful, textural, well-curated and festive. Though we're not convinced hippies would've paid $1,575 for a tasseled, woven Givenchy handbag, made whimsical in the catalog with styled daisies, but Barneys' hippies apparently have highly cultivated taste and deep pockets.
