A combination of shoes and cocktails, plus some flirty silken frocks from celebrity stylists Cristina Ehrlich and Estee Stanley, is definitely an evening well spent. On Tuesday, the stylists' label Miss Davenporte, joined forces with Spanish shoe brands Pura Lopez, Pedro Garcia, Paco Gil, Magrit, and Chie Mihara at the Chateau Marmont in Penthouse 64, for a special presentation of their spring 2009 collections.

It was a mellow soirée, perhaps because the witching hour of the infamous penthouse doesn't begin until after midnight. The shoes from Spain stood at the fore with exotic leathers and other statement-making materials twisted into imaginative designs, while only a smattering of the adorable Miss Davenporte collection lined the grand hallway.
