H&M, 12:15am: The Calm Before the Comme

Just after midnight and we checked the Beverly Center H&M and the Sunset Boulevard H&M for any signs of eager Comme des Garcons for H&M shoppers, but all was quiet less than nine hours before the collection drops. Perhaps everyone is getting their beauty sleep to prepare for waiting and possible jockeying for pieces. We did get a sense of the merch at the Sunset outpost, which is set up down the center of the store, the men's collection behind the women's, and takes up maybe a fifth of retail space. We're guessing there will be a lot more stock at the Beverly Center store.
