For the next 27 days, DWR will be offering one limited edition item or an item up for auction online. First up is a limited-edition Covnvert-O-Bike (20 are avail, $360 each), designed in 1949 by the Anthony Brothers, which will take your child from three-wheeler to two-wheeler with, of course, seat adjustment to fit kids of varying sizes. Made of aluminum alloy, and able to be left outside for long stretches, this should last multiple generations. Each bike comes with stamp of authenticity and production day, and assembly is supposed to be simple. [DWR]
