Furniture and home decor shop The Brendan Barry Collection has closed at 5810 West 3rd Street (a couple blocks west of La Brea), consolidating its merch to sister shop Barong at 1201 North La Brea Avenue (north of Santa Monica Boulevard).
Apartment Therapy described the shop as focusing on "modern furniture and Asian accessories, primarily from Indonesia," where owner Brendan Barry offered home design and custom furniture services: "He promises that upholstered furniture, in your choice of fabrics, will be in your home in two weeks. He's someone to talk to about turning that dream piece, a picture of which you tore out of a magazine so long ago it's now creased from being in your wallet, from a wish into a reality."
A quick call to Barong and we were told that the economy just got too tough to handle both spaces, but anything you were looking for at The Brendan Barry Collection can now be found there. [RackedWire]
