Tom Ford formed his production company, Fade to Black, three years ago, and soon he'll be ready to start shooting his first film. WWD reports that "Ford is expected to start filming his first feature, titled 'A Single Man,' in Los Angeles early next month." An adaptation of a Christopher Isherwood novel, the film is "reportedly" starring Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, and Matthew Goode. We expect there to be smoldering on-screen of some sort. Has not shown up on Ford's IMDB page as of yet. [WWD, subscription req]
