Rory Beca to NY Fash Week

LA-based label Rory Beca will be presenting on the catwalk for the first time at New York Fashion Week next season. Per FWD, having landed her label in 500 stores, including Barneys, Neiman's, Intermix and Bergdorf Goodman, designer Rory Edelman "is eschewing the market appointment mode in favor of a formal presentation, to take place in February during New York's Fashion Week." She told the pub: "I've always looked forward to showing in New York, and now, the timing is right." She's in NYC right now showing spring '09 and scouting for spaces. [FWD]
