A smattering of celebs showed up for the opening party for Arcade Boutique by Rochelle Gores last night—a casual Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, Mischa Barton in a Herve Leger bandage dress, Joe Pesci in a baseball hat—plus jewelry designers Neil Lane (who created a collection for the store) and Pamela Froman (who recently won a Town & Country Couture Design Award), French designer Alexis Mabille and LA-based designer Julia Clancey, who showed at Smashbox this season.

But overall, the event seemed to be filled with owner Rochelle Gores' family and friends, which made for a festive mood. Numerous attendees commented on the delicious food and elderflower cocktails. We did chat with designer Julia Clancey for a moment, who said she has a friend consulting on the next move for Smashbox in terms of fashion week, and, based on her insider knowledge, she thinks it will be much improved.
