The NYT's Caucus blog poses the question: "Who was the highest paid individual in Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign during the first half of October as it headed down the homestretch?" In case you haven't heard, the answer is Amy Strozzi, who is Palin's traveling makeup artist and made $22,800 during that time period, filed under 'Personnel Svc/Equipment.' Further, Angela Lew, Palin's traveling hair stylist, made $10,000, filed under 'Communications Consulting,' also at the first half of October. Between the $150,00 wardrobe and $32,800 for hair and makeup in two weeks, you just couldn't even make this stuff up. [The Caucus/NYT]
