Though LA Fashion Week continues on at BOXeight through Sunday, Boulevard 3 wrapped up Fashion Week on Friday night with designer Andrew Christian’s show of flirty undies and sexy bathing suits. Christian addressed the crowd before the show and exclaimed “It’s LA Fashion Week, GET INTO IT!” He told the audience he named his new collection The Black Line because “once you go black, you never go back.” Curiously, the crowd laughed and applauded as though they’d never heard this before.

The theme of the show was a little inconsistent: It went from lifeguard to A Midsummer Night's Dream to bridal to varsity-inspired. But everything fit the hard-bodied models perfectly. Gotta love cotton/poly/spandex blends! The gift bags included Obama ’08 men’s boxer briefs so comfortably sexy we bet even McCain supporters will secretly rock them. Overall, we gotta hand it to Christian for anticipating the crowd would be too pooped out from Fashion Week to process anything but a super fun show and a light-hearted collection.
