Designer Collabs: A.B.S by Allen Schwartz for JC Penney

JC Penney is amping up its designer collaborations of late, with Charlotte Ronson's I [Heart] Ronson collection recently announced, and now the news that the mid-market department store has enlisted LA-based Allen B. Schwartz, Design Director of A.B.S to create a collection, also hitting stores in February. From WWD via Fabsugar, the designer describes the collection as "California cool," telling the pub: “Today, what is exploding is the antifit look, the crop look, the boy jean, ruffle blouses and the new harem pant. It’s very baggy, very ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ inspired." Prices will range from $30 for tees to $70 for dresses, available in-store and online at
