As we mentioned, Beach Bunny Swimwear expected to lure a quartet of Playboy bunnies, and, as far as we could tell, success! There they were, sitting together, being blonde and everything. But, honestly, they couldn't compete (clothed) with the abundance of flesh that was about to ensue.
The label stays true to its vision of bringing the boudoir to the beach with lingerie-inspired bikinis and cover-ups incorporating satiny bows, lace, ruffles and jeweled details. There's a definite coquettish element—bright pink kiss print (of the S.W.A.K. variety), use of pearls, sweet bows, and styling with socks and heels—which tempers it (barely) into demure territory. But don't get us wrong, the overriding effect is super-sexy, with no shortage of T-and-A. The crowd was definitely into it—not surprisingly from the male contingent—but we also heard hoots and murmurs of "gorgeous" from a young-ish female set sitting behind us.
