The ultra sexy, exposed styling—bare midriffs combined with low-slung studded belts, big, teased hair, over-the-knee stiletto boots, and at least two instances of booty cleavage—upstaged the denim of Las Vegas-based Sheiki Jeans. In the moment, it was difficult to see past the laced-up lacy bodysuit, the embellished, sparkly tank in the shape of a plus sign (with quadrants of exposed flesh), or the paillette bikini bottoms. Graphic burnout tees and tanks were paired with jeans, ripped and shredded, some with sequins peeking through, stud or stitch detailing, zippered pockets and whiskering.
Upon a second look at the photos, we found clean-lined, slimming bootcut styles as well, along with less revealing drapey dresses and sequined tanks in a number of colorways. We were taken aback to see a pair of Sheiki jeans worn outside the context of the runway styling just an hour later—they were unembellished and flattering, and, based on this pair, we wouldn't have guessed there was a navel-plunging lace top to accompany.
