Move over, whiskers. Next year, America's first dog cafe might be heading to LA, thanks to animal rescuer Sarah Wolfgang. Our sister site Eater reveals the news, noting that Wolfgang hopes to open The Dog Cafe "somewhere in Central LA, preferably Downtown." That is, if the project meets its crowdsourced funding goals.
Campaigned by Kickstarter competitor Indigogo, The Dog Cafe will feature a "divided space that will accommodate both dogs and coffee drinkers." Wolfgang is asking for a whopping $200,000 to produce the project, but has garnered less than $2,000 so far. The campaign closes on February 5th; donate here.
