Just like last year and the year before that, we've tapped a handful of influential Angelenos to weigh in on 2014's greatest hits and misses. First up is their pick for this year's best LA store.

Gabriela Artigas, Gabriela Artigas Jewelry designer: "Alchemy Works."
Jayne Min, Stop It Right Now blogger: "My most frequented store of 2014 was Acne Studios. We don't have as many retail options on the Eastside, so Acne was a welcomed newcomer. It's an obvious choice because it's one of my favorite brands, but it's also just an easy and relaxed retail experience, especially with the cafe next door. I love stores that I feel like I can hang out at."
Shareen Mitchell, Shareen Vintage owner: "There is a small store in Silver Lake called Clover. I wear vintage for work and my collection for a big occasion, but for casual wear I like T-shirts, skinny jeans, easy sweaters, luxe sweats from Clover."
Brigham Yen, DTLA Rising blogger: "LA-EX just opened at the Tower Theatre in Downtown LA—it's so cute! I just love the 'tiny flagship concept' designer Alex Khater came up with that's made such a big impact on that block.
Lucy Akin, Super Street founder: "I love the new A.P.C. store. I think the architecture is so beautiful. The design was so well thought-out and I love Melrose Place as a shopping destination."
Paul C. Witt, Wittmore owner: "Garde on Beverly Blvd. It's the perfect shop for home and gifts."
Heather Lipner, Clashist founder: "I would have to say TenOverSix. It's been my favorite forever!"
Kelsi Smith, Stylesmith blogger: "It'd be bias of me to say UNIQLO, but it's so exciting to finally have them here. Even before we worked with them I was a big fan, and now I'm an even bigger one. In terms of indie boutiques, I tend to shop straight from designer or online. For vintage Pattye's Closet in Montrose has become my favorite spot for instant retail gratification."
