Earlier this year, we revealed that Cos (Collection of Style) was invading both American coasts. We then got a little taste of the minimalist brand's affordable merch when it popped up for a month at cool-kid haunt Opening Ceremony. Today, Beverly Hills will be the first to give H&M's cool sister label a warm Stateside welcome when its West Coast flagship debuts at 357 N Beverly Drive this afternoon—about a month before New York's rumored opening. (Sorry, not sorry!)
Measuring 5,683 square feet, the two-story boutique houses womenswear on the first floor and men's and children's merch on the second floor. In addition to digging the buzzing location, brand director Marie Honda tells us Cos selected Banana Republic's former space because of the building's unique facade and ample natural lighting, mirroring the style of its overseas shops. LA also served as design inspo for the Swedish label—the minimalist brand tells us that its designers found inspiration in DTLA's art scene, the iconic Eames house in the Pacific Palisades, and (naturally) Cali's mid-century modern architecture.
Below, get the first look inside the store and head over to the shop at noon when the doors open.
Cos is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
