Impossible to fathom, but Rodeo Drive just got a lot more glamorous with the new, expansive Gucci boutique, which bowed just last Friday.
The 22,000 square foot store, the third location in LA, was re-designed by the brand's Creative Director Frida Giannini and houses men's and women's ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories as well as Gucci's children's line. The brand's new beauty line will also be available at this location as well as a limited edition citrus colored "Jackie" handbag, with specially numbered plaque, that commemorates the store's opening.
Hard to miss is the store's silvery facade, which spans 30 by 75 feet and immediately evokes the sexy, sleek vibe of the Italian brand. For VIPS and the inevitable celebrity dressing swirl this city knows all too well, a new third floor, complete with wrap around terrace, has been added. Hard at work on this top level will be the Italian house's master tailors who will tend to high profile and VIP customers for the Gucci Première and Made to Measure collections.
