Just like that, summer's end is sadly nigh. So far, Los Angeles has already enjoyed a slew of highly-anticipated debuts: The Ace Hotel, Space 15 Twenty's first vintage and fitness shop-in-shops, a flurry of French labels (Iro and The Kooples), OAK, MUJI SaMo, FIGat7th's very stacked directory (H&M, Zara, L'Occitane), and much, much more. But 2014's still got three and a half months left—plenty of time to squeeze in more major store openings.
Up next, we've rounded up the stores that we're impatiently awaiting this fall season, which officially starts September 22. Some opening dates have been finalized, and others are still pending; if you've got an inside scoop on any of these stores, feel free to drop us a note at tips@racked.com, at our anonymous tipline or in the comments.
Uniqlo
Those pop-up shops have already given SoCal a taste of this Japanese retailer's affordable apparel and accessories and though the fast fashion brand's permanent residency officially began in OC last week, their grand openings in LA start on September 26 at the Glendale Galleria and Northridge Fashion Center, followed by the Beverly Center on October 10.
Freecity
The laid-back LA brand is bringing its colorful basics to Venice, where its second location will serve up their signature sweatpants, tees and more. The 500-square-foot shop located on California Avenue just off Abbot Kinney will open in mid-October.
Nudie Jeans
With their first location on Melrose already offering their responsibly-made apparel and freebie jeanswear fixes, the Swedish denim brand is transforming their existing Downtown showroom into a fully-stocked shop this fall. The label tells us they're aiming for a November opening.

Alfred Coffee
Fashion's favorite coffee shop is spilling over across the street and into a massive retail development at Melrose and La Cienega, where Alice + Olivia and Cycle House will also live. Their Alfred, in the Alley mini-café will open this fall, and their third location in Brentwood will open in early November.
Diane von Furstenberg
Though her 40th anniversary fashion retrospective has long wrapped, the legendary designer's LA presence is her to stay, in the form of two new LA boutiques. Her shops at The Grove and The Americana at Brand are expected to open late fall, which we're interpreting as October or November.
Moo Shoes
The NYC-based purveyor of cruelty-free footwear is opening its first LA boutique in Silver Lake. The store will open near Dream Collective and Clare Vivier this fall, no date has been set.

Gucci
The Italian fashion house's sixth SoCal location is poised to follow in the footsteps of South Coast Plaza, at least according to excited Westfield Topanga shoppers. Located next to Cartier and across from Louis Vuitton, the luxury label's third LA boutique is expected to open this fall. We're waiting to hear back from the brand for an update.
The Sparkle Factory
Originally slated to debut in August, LA designer Tarina Tarantino's seven-story retail development in Downtown's buzzing Broadway district will instead open this fall to accommodate her Melrose boutique's big move to her new DTLA creative hub.
Intermix
With eight Cali locations (including five existing LA boutiques), the insider-faced designer chain let's sixth City of Angels shop is opening at Rick Caruso's The Promenade at Westlake this fall; we're checking in with the retailer for updates.

Urban Decay
The edgy cosmetics brand's first standalone boutique will be gracing the Newport Beach shopping center with an in-store coffee bar, a "dude station" with tech chargers, an interactive photo booth and six luxe makeup stations. The 1,000-square-foot flagship is slated to open this fall, and an exact opening date hasn't yet been set.
COS
Aside from their cool kid-filled launch party at Opening Ceremony earlier this year, there's been no updates on the COS's (Collection of Style) first LA store in Beverly Hills other than it'll open "later this year." The minimalist label's NYC location will debut this fall, so here's hoping that its City of Angels outpost will follow.
The Kooples
The cult-fave French label began their LA invasion this summer with their first City of Angels outpost on Robertson, and the brand's marching on with a second shop at Santa Monica Place. The Parisian brand has opted to keep Angelenos guessing by ditching a "Coming Soon" announcement on their plywood, but we're speculating a fall opening.
