If you dig fashionable fitness labels like Koral Activewear and OUT Incorporated, meet local apparel line Garbe Luxe. Designed by certified yogi and Canadian expat Natalia Macleod, the new made-in-LA (and Garance Dore-faved) lifestyle brand is all about fusing form and function using innovative fabrics and versatile designs.
Priced from $60 to $180, the stylish sportswear label's latest fall collection "thinks outside the constrains of what lifestyle or activewear should be," Macleod tells us. Currently stocked at boho-chic Venice boutique Principessa, luxe sweat sanctuary chain/RFC pal Equinox and online at Shopbop, the latest range is comprised of wear-anywhere standouts like this classic supima cotton v-neck top ($72), this football-inspired fleece sweatpant ($148), this quick-dry yoga capri ($94) and more. Check out a few more fall looks and get to know what inspired Macleod after the jump.
What inspired the fall collection?
"I am often inspired by fabric, this season in particular a fleece that resembled boiled wool in texture with a soft plush hand, which inspired me to create shapes like an oversized lapel coat and bolero jacket."
Who or what are your design muses?
"Inspirational muses are everywhere, I see it in the textures, shapes and colors in nature, in my baby's clothes. I see it in art and film. Mostly, I envision the woman, she is confident and comfortable in her skin, she has an ease about the way she wears her clothes."
