Next month, MAC Cosmetics is set to take over Jill Roberts' former space at 363 North Beverly Drive. But this won't be any MAC shop; the popular cosmetics manufacturer known for its cool collabs and bestselling red lipstick is transforming the 900-square-foot space into a stylized beauty playground, complete with perks for VIP guests.
MAC tells us that, in addition to offering an "elegant two-story façade in signature MAC black metal," complete with an entrance that features "sculptural wall panels composed of actual MAC product and color-changing LED light," the store will feature an 80-square-foot private makeup room—the first of its kind. Catering to top clients, the room will "consist entirely of soft upholstered walls, scalloped and side-lit to create a bright and inviting atmosphere."
Take another peek at the store below and mark your cal for its debut on September 12.
"Our arrival to this incredible location on North Beverly Drive is of major significance," explains Karen Buglisi Weiler, Global Brand President of MAC Cosmetics. "We are unveiling the world's first-ever Fashion-Centric retail format with this opening, with a strong focus on the color authority and avant-garde style that have consistently kept MAC as the leader in a global trend conversation year after year. This is a chance for us to approach the sophisticated, diverse and international clientele in this area, and elevate our environment in a creative design that is loyal to our DNA. MAC is thrilled to take its place in Beverly Hills."
