Now that we've attracted the majority of cult-favorite French brands to open stores in LA, it's time to lure the rest of the world. MUJI, Acne and Uniqlo know what's up, so who's next? Apparently it's H&M's incredibly cool sibling, COS (Collection of Style), who is set to open a store in Beverly Hills later this year. Following its stateside debut in NYC this fall, this will be the minimalist label's second store in the US.
WWD reports that the highly-anticipated West Coast outpost will be located at 357 North Beverly Drive, further proving our theory that North Beverly Drive is swiftly transforming into the new Rodeo Drive. Before COS opens, next month the Swedish retailer will unveil a pop-up shop inside Opening Ceremony, which will feature a range of sleek options for men, women and children.
Whether you're new to COS or simply need a refresher on why they're so damn awesome, check out this brilliant primer put together by our sister site.
Update: An earlier version of this story reported that the Beverly Hills store would be 13,000-square-feet, which we sourced from WWD. COS tells us that the store's square footage has yet to be determined and WWD has since removed the mention. Also, COS' NYC store will open in the fall, not spring.
