Ever since playful shop Moods of Norway moved on to more exciting pastures on Melrose Ave last year, we've noticed that block of Robertson Blvd has maintained a fairly, uh, tame existence. We've been waiting with bated breath for someone to fill the void left by those hard-partying Scandinavians, and that day has finally arrived. Hong Kong-based luxury fashion brand iiJin (pronounced "e-gene") has taken over Kira Plastinina's old Lublu boutique for their US debut, bringing their cheeky, grunge-inspired vibes to the upscale shopping stretch. Are you ready for patent pink leather hiking boots?
Sandwiched between Anya Hindmarch and Nanette Lepore, the 1,200-square-foot space boasts floor-to-ceiling wall art hand-painted by co-owner Cassian Lau (his wife, June Lee, is the brand's creative director). On top of stocking the iiJin's signature height-boosting platform sneakers, bejeweled combat boots and more insane footwear, the boutique also offers the brand's playful streetswear-inspired apparel, including to-die-for sequin panda sweaters and much more.
Intrigued? Take a peek inside the eye-popping store (we hear Kat von D was already spotted here) and click on the jump for more photos.
