Just like last year, we've tapped a handful of reputable fashion friends to weigh in on 2013's greatest hits (and misses). We've already named LA's best shops, brands, dream stores, buyer's remorse, purchases, 'hoods, worst trends, best words and LAFW's fate. Our final question is: What are your LA shopping predictions for 2014?

Simone Harouche, stylist and Simone Camille designer: "I think Los Angeles is being taken more seriously and we will see more designers opening stores in LA."
Sonja Rasula, Unique LA founder: "The area for shopping will start to be DTLA, which I've been gunning for now for over six years. Super excited."
Tommy Lei, My Belonging blogger: "With additions like Céline, Isabel Marant, Sandro and Acne, it's about to get way more international than ever."
Sarah St. Lifer, freelance journalist: "Each year, I see more of a focus on local talent. In 2014, I hope more shops open up that stock brands made in LA, and that SoCal designers receive the praise they deserve. With such a focus on LA during this past NYFW, I think there will be a greater interest in those who are inspired by their hometown."
Monica Rose, stylist and designer: "I love discovering new designers so hopefully LA boutiques bring in new and upcoming talent."
Kaya B. Mlle Mademoiselle designer: "Stick to classics because they will never fail you."
Amanda Thomas, Luv Aj designer: "Everything will be online. Even buying toilet paper and groceries. We've all gotten a bit lazy, and with Free Shipping everywhere it will be inevitable."
Melissa Akkaway, designer and Beckley Boutique owner: "I think people are looking for exceptional service and styling. They want to find something new and are willing to take risks."
Christos Garkinos, Decades co-owner: "More of it, hopefully."
Jen Weinberg, Glamour West Coast editor: "Downtown is where it's at."
