Just like last year, we've tapped a handful of reputable fashion friends to weigh in on 2013's greatest hits (and misses). We've already named LA's best shops, brands, dream stores, worst cases of buyer's remorse and best purchases. Now, tastemakers are electing our city's best neighborhoods for shopping.

Tommy Lei, My Belonging blogger: "Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, especially when you're on the hunt for high-end investments like me! Sunset Boulevard in Silverlake and Melrose Place are definitely runners-up."
Amanda Thomas, Luv Aj designer: "Honestly, I still love Abbot Kinney. Aside from the fact that it has the best brunch spots of all time, it's great to mosey around while you're waiting 45 minutes for your table at Gjelina. Of note, I love Satine, Le Labo, and Mona Moore."
Jen Weinberg, Glamour West Coast editor: "Venice! But I am biased, because I live there. Cool shops are starting to pop up on Lincoln, like General Store, The Mart Collective, Haley Starr and Pearl Drop, and south of Venice, like Venice Vintage Paradise and Double Vision."
Christos Garkinos, Decades co-owner: "Melrose, baby!"
Simone Harouche, stylist and Simone Camille designer: "West Hollywood."
Monica Rose, stylist and designer: "I usually shop Robertson, Rodeo and Melrose Place because its a one-stop-shop for me.
Melissa Akkaway, designer and Beckley Boutique owner: "I am biased but I really believe that 3rd Street has the best shopping. It has everything from restaurants, beauty, fashion and more. Most of the stores are unique boutiques that offer well-curated selections of merchandise. "
Sonja Rasula, Unique LA founder: "Silver Lake."
Sarah St. Lifer, freelance journalist: "I'm biased to that little nook on Silver Lake Boulevard, just south of the reservoir. I live over there, and love OK, Lake, Yolk and LA Merch. Sometimes, you'll even catch me outside of Lawson-Fenning, daydreaming about my fantasy apartment!"
Kaya B. Mlle Mademoiselle designer: "Melrose Place and Beverly Hills."
