Jeans aren't just a casual Friday option in LA. They're a wear-every-day wardrobe basic. Credit the city's laid-back aesthetic and our status as the denim capital of the US. A ton of ultra-successful jeans brands have been born and nurtured in LA, including J Brand, 7 for All Mankind, Paige, Joe's and Current/Elliott.
Our denim-focused attitude means that there are tons of places to buy jeans in LA, from big department stores and chains to single-brand boutiques to indie shops to by-appointment ateliers that offer made-to-measure, bespoke pairs. After the jump, we've rounded up 15 options from cheap to, well, whatever the going rate is for limited-edition Japanese selvedge these days. As always, let us know if we've missed your favorites in the comments.
