Alexa Chung likes the 3113 stacked heel wedge. Miranda Kerr is partial to the 3152 linen bootie. Emmanuelle Alt can't get enough of the 7124 thigh high. Just about every style star has their favorite Kathryn Amberleigh shoe—and you can, too, now that the NY-based footwear label has officially set up shop at 8130 West 3rd Street, right next door to Satine.
Founded in 2007 by designer Kathryn Kim and her husband Howard, Kathryn Amberleigh is known for producing show-stopping, one-of-a-kind footwear that are all handmade and feature a plethora of unique colorways, fabrics and textures. Prices range from $200 to $700, averaging between $300 and $400. The new store, which opened last Sunday, is the second standalone for the label, which includes a flagship in NYC's Nolita district. "We love LA, so opening a boutique here was a natural choice," Howard tells us. "We brought half of our New York inventory here, with more on the way."
Flip through our gallery to see the new digs (and meet the store's adorable mascot, Coffee the Pomeranian!) and swing by Monday through Saturday 11am to 8pm, Sunday 12pm to 7pm. Also, Kathryn Amberleigh is currently seeking experienced sales associates to join their LA team, so if you think you have what it takes, send your resume to info@kathrynamberleigh.
