This is interesting: Rather than have an LA party in, well, Los Angeles, Juicy Couture has invited their Angeleno friends to New York for a unique presentation of their fall 2012 collection. The range, titled "LA Loves London," is "a tongue-in-cheek nod to London mod and the 1970's Sunset Strip," per the release. Maybe Juicy opted to fête the collection on the East Coast since flights across the pond are fairly pricey these days.
In any event, the invite-only party is happening tonight at Upper East Side’s Academy Mansion and promises "special LA guests and delicacies," as well as a set by LA-favorite, DJ Michelle Pesce. Expected celebrity attendees include Anna Faris, Emma Robert and Jessica Stam. No word if Juicy co-founders Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy (aka "the most California people that ever lived") will be there.
