In the same issue that features their Coachella-inspired editorial starring Gillian Zinser, Foam Magazine took some time out to chat with their cover model, Chanel Iman. Although the 21-year-old high-fashion favorite currently lives in New York, she reveals to the mag that LA is where her career first took off: "I remember walking in L.A. fashion week, before I moved to New York when I was 15. I started doing fashion shows there and then in Paris and Milan, but, you know, it all started here in my hometown."
She also tells Foam that she spent a lot of time at the Melrose Trading Post during her time at Fairfax High School, but for all the wrong reasons: "It’s kind of funny though because when you’d get in trouble [at Fairfax High], you’d have to work at the flea market that’s there. So, you’d find me there every Sunday because I would get into trouble a lot at Fairfax."
New game: During your next visit to the Melrose Trading Post, find out how many student staffers are working there out of punishment.
