Update: Turns out, C&C California still exists and has no affiliation with Cotton Citizen; Kristin Reiter only mentioned the brand to compare quality. Cotton Citizen is a brand new line, recently launched at Fred Segal.
If you're wondering what happened to LA knitwear label C&C California, we're pleased to announce that they've been working on reclaiming their mojo. Kristin Reiter of conversational fashion diary Bleach Black has tipped us off to the fact that C&C California has changed their name to Cotton Citizen and is now available exclusively at Fred Segal.
According to Reiter, the new line of tees, tanks, hoodies, and sweaters feature "the most amazing wash, most amazing drape with a dry hand" and steers clear of the unfavorable generic feeling that overly siliconed knits tend to lend. See a few more styles here and swing by Fred Segal to try on the goods.
