More evidence that suggests Amazon is truly serious about taking over the world: they just launched MyHabit, an upscale flash site that works just like all the other flash sites out there. But with 360 degree video modeling, which is both helpful and freaky. They're strong, out of the gates, with offerings from Doo.Ri, Badgley Mischka dresses and shoes, and Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry. The prices are about on par with the Gilt Groupes and Rue La Las of the world: about 60% off (like $530 for a $1,325 Doo.Ri dress, $134 for a Badgley Mischka cocktail dress, $20 for Kenneth Jay Lane earrings). They may not be first to the party, but they are offering fast (their description), free shipping and free returns.
