After a short but sweet hype, the Olsenboye collection hit JCPenney stores across the country today... including the one at the Westfield Culver City mall. Seriously, is there any discount line this mall doesn't have? The collection is quietly tucked away without any signage in the Juniors department... the mannequins aren't even dressed in the Olsenboye clothes. If you don't look for it, you'll probably miss it. We almost did.
The collection is about what you'd expect from JCPenney: lots of near-transparent tissue tees and rhinestones and poly-cotton blends. The smallest size is still pretty dwarfing. And peace signs. Peace signs and rhinestones and "Olsenboye" on everything. And even though today is the first day of the product hitting the floors, it's all marked down to 40% off. Which makes the most expensive thing there, the $50 hoodie/blazer combo, a mere $30. So, you know, if you can't find anything at Forever 21, you know where to go next.
