Urban Outfitters showroom Space 15 Twenty turns over again this month, sending off up Kim Gordon's Mirror/Dash line and bringing in Mary Ping's Cool, Casual. The collection debuts in the space today, and there's an opening party tomorrow night from 7pm to 10pm.
Ping, the designer behind cult favorite Slow and Steady Wins the Race, clearly favors clever understatement, not just in the names of her collections but also in her design aesthetic. Her first set of five pieces for Urban Outfitters included a basic black tee shirt that just happened to be made of leather, and her second set involves a reversible maxi-dress. Turn it upside down, and you've got a whole different outfit. Just try not to trip.
