NYC-based TV and print journalist-cum-designer Jenny Galluzzo is launching Mayer, her vintage caftan-inspired collection of dresses and blouses, on the West Coast at Presse Boutique on La Brea. It all started with a love for her grandmother's 1970s caftans collected through travels, which became Galluzzo's obsession, prompting her to intern at Peter Som to learn about design and production, while working on the line. Available starting Thursday, September 25, you'll find dusty, soft colors and muted prints in crinkle chiffon and washed silk, along with leather, silk and chain belts to accompany, making you ache for summer vacation all over again.
