Sellebrity: Heidi Klum for Jordache, Michelle Trachtenberg Blogs, Leona Lewis' Vegan Line
Friday, May 2, 2008, by Tasha

What are famous faces selling these days? Here's a dose of Sellebrity to clue you in.

2008_5_heidijordache.jpg 1) Heidi Klum: Klum really does stay busy between Project Runway, Victoria's Secret, designing a jewelry collection for Mouawad, and now turning from the bod of Jordache jeans to a designer herself for the revived denim label. She launched the line at the Bloomingdale's at the Beverly Center this week with her many likenesses (pictured, a little creepy actually). It gets the thumbs-up from Styledash, "Amazingly enough, the clothes seem like something that Heidi herself would actually wear. In fact, we're pretty sure we've even seen Mrs. Seal in the Misses' Sequin Gold Beaded Top." [Style Dash]

2) Michelle Trachtenberg: Now on Gossip Girl and now blogging for Cosmopolitan. If the first entry is a preview of what's to come, then the space will be a place for Trachtenberg to hype her wardrobe as character Georgina Sparks and hawk her own jewelry collection, Bella Veritas. From the post: "What did you think of my first episode in the Gossip Girl world? Picking out my first outfit as Georgina Sparks was so much fun! From the Jimmy Choo patent leather booties to the statement-making Gucci tote, black, skintight, leather Ya-Ya jacket, and the Tom Ford shades, we totally brought it! But I have to admit, the item I'm most excited to wear is the black onyx gold skull necklace from my own jewelry line, Bella Veritas...Ps. If you want to check out my jewelry line, Bella Veritas, for yourself head over to Nina at Fred Segal, Santa Monica, CA." Laying it on a bit thick, no? Check a few pieces from the jewelry line here—not terribly exciting. [Cosmopolitan]

3) Leona Lewis: The British pop star is aiming to design her own line of fashion and accessories. From Style Crunch: "She’s very pro-active in the protection of animals and never wears any leather shoes—after performing on American Idol last week she told the media that she was wearing cheap shoes because then at least she knew they couldn’t possibly be made of leather." Cheap shoes? Now, that's commitment. [Style Crunch]
