You can't throw a rock these days without hitting a fest-ready event in LA that involves buzzwords like "bohemian" and "hippie-chic", unless you're sleek boutique Reservoir. The cool-girl shop is extending its stay on Robertson Boulevard and is giving its second floor a Coachella-minded makeover this month.
From Friday, April 9th through Thursday, April 21st, shop a specially selected range of cult-cool luxury labels, including clothing from Alexander Wang, Re/Done denim, headpieces by Cult Gaia, sunnies from Linda Farrow, and brands exclusive to the shop like Marieclaire St. John, Emi-Jay, Rockins, Cult Guy, and others.
Oh, and about that NELA outpost: co-founder Aliza Neidich tells us that although the shop was originally bound for Silver Lake, that storefront "fell through but we're still looking for another space"; for now, they'll be on Robertson "indefinitely." (Stay tuned for more.)
Ahead of the shop-in-shop's official debut, Reservoir is throwing a pre-opening party this Thursday from 6 to 9pm. Hosted by Olivia Perez of Friend of a Friend, expect burgers from In-N-Out, a Phhhoto booth, and more; get on the list by emailing info@reservoir-la.com.
Reservoir's VIP Coachella Shop-in-Shop is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 6pm; closed Monday.
