LA has scored another sanctuary for sandals, courtesy of our Portuguese-speaking friends. Brazilian shoe brand Schutz's first West Coast store (and second US outpost) officially opens today this Sunday on North Beverly Drive, where its model-faved steppers have taken over Jil Sander Navy's former space.
Decked out in mirrors everywhere (the better to see your shoes with) and giant LED screens, the 1,800-square-foot boutique stocks the label's entire collection of footwear ($145 to $395), including those sexy caged thigh-highs and chunky heeled steppers seen on local blogstars, KenGi, and more. In addition, the shop features a selection of Coachella-ready styles, just in time for Weekend 2 festgoers.
See more inside the store in the gallery and pop in daily from 10am to 7pm.
Update 4/22, 11:45am: The brand tells us that its grand opening day has been changed.
