As seen here and here, A Current Affair is always filled with incredible vintage style inspiration. This weekend's sixth ACA show promises more of the same, but with some added star power.
In addition to offering more than 60 sought-after vintage retailers and private dealers from across the country, the DTLA event—taking place at the Cooper Design Space Penthouse on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd from 12pm to 6pm—will feature an exhibit curated by Texas-based Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes. If the name slightly rings it bell, it's because Kanye West once blogged about the young talent back in 2009. (Remember when Kanye was a blogger?)
At ACA, Aldridge will be styling 10 shoppable vintage looks using pieces from the show, and she'll be joined by her ultra-stylish mom Judy Aldridge of Atlantis Home and friend Danielle Miele of Gem Gossip. There will also be an open bar sponsored by Chareau, a lounge provided by design collective Urban Americana, lite bites, music by KCRW DJ Marion Hodges, and tons of LA retailers, including Scout, Recess, and Mixed Business.
