Following Fred Segal's 500 Broadway closing back in 2014 to make way for a massive new development, we've just received word from a very reliable source that the legendary retailer has been asked to vacate its remaining 420 Broadway building.
Our tipster tells us that the new owner is kicking everyone out by Thursday, March 31st, so you have from now until then to take advantage of the retailer's major liquidation sale. Everything is marked down from 50-75% off.
That's all we know for now, and it's a real bummer. The good news is that Fred Segal Melrose has no plans to close anytime soon, as the westside property is not affiliated with that location.
