HOLLYWOOD—We can always look to MAC cosmetics for a look that's bold and sexy, and for their Wash & Dry summer collection, the beauty brand did not disappoint. The laundromat-inspired line of products makes getting your summer siren vibe as easy as fluff-and-fold. This Friday through Sunday, the Hollywood & Highland store (6801 Hollywood Blvd) celebrates the launch of the new hues with a visit from senior artists Caroline Donnelly and Cynthia Rivas, and some fun festivities. From 12-9pm Friday and Saturday and 11am-8pm Sunday, stop into the store to ogle live tumbling performers and get a makeup demo featuring Wash & Dry's signature bronze-y, nude, or coral shades for lips and cheeks. Even get your brows on point with the store's bounty of services to get you looking so fresh, so clean. Just make sure to call 323-465-5030 for an appointment by the end of day Thursday.
WEST HOLLYWOOD—Good tunes and good jeans are two things we can never have enough of. This Thursday evening, experts of each come together for Madewell's first ever Listening Party. Partnered with mega music-streaming service Spotify, the breezy clothing brand's The Grove location (189 The Grove Dr) will offer sweet treats and bevvies while they spin their favorite summer jams and show you some of their best-selling denim styles (we're currently living in their High Riser Skinny Skinny style in the Thom wash). Shoppers will even benefit from a music-themed surprise courtesy of Spotify Premium. It all goes down from 7-9pm, but aim for the early side because the first 30 customers will receive a cute canvas tote and Spotify swag.
