This Thursday, April 16th, Nike will finally reveal the results of a massive renovation to its Santa Monica Place shop. A rep tells us that the newly remodeled, 20,000-square-foot space will showcase the brand's latest retail concept with "a renewed focus on women and Nike+ services, including Nike+ Run Analysis, bra fitting, pant hemming, and personal shopping." Very cool.
Additional upgrades include an elevation of the brand's popular Nike+ program, a product mix tailored specifically for Nike Santa Monica, and the unveiling of "Nike.com Assist"—a brilliantly convenient service that enables shoppers to purchase product from both Nike.com and in-store in a single mobile transaction, with free shipping.
Stay tuned for opening festivities info. In the meantime, here's more great news for Los Angeles fitness fiends: Nike superfans can now join the Nike+ LA community of local athletes through a revamped Nike+ Run Club experience and Nike Training Club by signing up here.
