Fresh off being named Project of the Year at the 14th annual Downtowners of Distinction awards ceremony, the Ace Hotel DTLA is readying to unveil a unique event that will bring out superstars who also happen to be surrealist superfans.
The Music of David Lynch—a night of performances in honor of the eerie American film director—is taking place on Wednesday, April 1st at 8pm, and everyone from Duran Duran to Moby to The Flaming Lips is expected to hit the historic United Artists Theater stage. Also set to play is Saint Laurent darling Sky Ferreira, whose heroin-chic vibe is a perfect match for Lynch's moody masterpieces.
Since the event's $45 tickets were snapped at lightning speed, all that's left are VIP seats going for a serious $1,000 a pop. The hefty price tag gets you a private pre-concert event with David Lynch, top shelf cocktails and crafted hors d'oeuvres, and a limited-edition concert poster designed by street artist Shepard Fairey.
