WEST HOLLYWOOD—The Mondrian Hotel's swanky Skybar lounge (8440 W Sunset Boulevard) is back with another edition of its monthly outdoor shopping event, Full Moon Bazaar. The Glamour Magazine sponsored evening takes place Tuesday from 8pm-2am and in addition to the regular offering of goods via some seriously cool vendors (and this week introduces a slew of new ones!) and concoctions from bar's bevvies list, this bash will be highlighted by a performance from hip neo-soul duo Lion Babe. Since the hot new act is sure to draw a big crowd, make sure to RSVP to skybarla@mhgc.com and save your space. Wanna make it a sleep over? Check out special hotel rates for the night here.
GLENDALE—The Americana at Brand's (889 Americana Way) weekly Kid's Club gets a festive twist this Tuesday as the shopping center welcomes little ones for a Halloween-themed afternoon—without the fright factor. Between 11am and 1pm, bring the kiddos by to score some fun face painting, watch a balloon artist crafting colorful creation, take in a concert by family folk act The Hollow Trees, and of course plenty of cavity-inducing confections. Bonus treats will be awarded to those who show up in costume.
BEVERLY HILLS—We recently told you about the talented team at Brighton Salon (9409 Brighton Way) in our Perfect Saturday in Beverly Hills round-up. Tuesday night the getting-glam locale wants to invite guests—whether they be previous or prospective clients—to pop in from 6-9pm and see the space (and may we suggest peruse the list of services?) while enjoying complimentary cocktails, light bites from Sweetgreen, and sweets from a Candy Vixen bar. You can also score a mini-makeup consultation and learn your perfect foundation match courtesy of revolutionary brand Oxygenetix.
