Now we know what it's like to sweat like an LA superstylist and blogstar. Last night, we took over Rebecca Minkoff's glorious new LA flagship with fashion-faved fitness trainer Chase Weber for the second time as part of our monthly sweat seshes.
After enjoying the evening air with warmups outside, Weber drilled us with us a variety of moves (sit-ups! toe touches! ball slams!) to sculpt our biceps, abs, and thighs. Next, we gathered into teams of three and ran through a series of heart-pumping workouts backed by remixes of Donna Summers, Mariah Carey, and more dance hits—and then things got real.
Our leader challenged each group to score the lowest time during a series of 10 burpees, 12 push-ups, 15 ball slams, and 20 toe touches—natch, these warriors even backed their competition with motivating cheers. (You guys are too kind.) The winners (they cleared the routine in 1:21!) scored a free sesh alongside sports stars and pros with Weber at West Hollywood's Unbreakable Performance.
