Not that we're complaining, but we'll have to take minimalist-cool deals before we can enjoy Helmut Lang's majorly revamped flagship. The sleek NY label tells us its new Melrose Avenue boutique is set to debut next Wednesday, October 28th, less than a week after its first-ever LA sample sale.
The brand's new LA outpost is permanently taking over its former installation space in the West Hollywood Design District at Melrose and Robertson. Located across from Maxfield and around the corner from Parisian avant-garde retailer L'Eclaireur's future store, expect the 7,000-square-foot space to feature Helmut Lang's full women's apparel, accessories, and fragrance collections.
In addition, the NYC-based label also tells us that the interiors will include "silk carpets, custom venetian plaster finishes, mid-century modern furniture, and stainless steel millwork." In other words, a far cry from its digs's previous monochrome and minimalist personality. In the meantime, we'll see you this Thursday?
