Don't let the weather fool you: we're almost one month into fall and nearly halfway into October, which means it's time for another installment of Artists & Fleas. This Saturday and Sunday (11am to 5pm both days), the NYC-bred bazaar makes its autumn debut at its usual DTLA Arts District haunt.
Local shoppers can expect over 70 new and returning designers, artists, vintage clothing and vinyl vendors, fashion trucks, and more throughout the weekend. Newbies include printastic local label 3rd Season Textiles, quirky-cool paper printer Cactus Club, custom millinery crew LA Hat Collective, globally-inspired maker GP Mauro Designs, and more. Mid-spree activities include food truck grubbing from Jenis Splendid Ice Creams, Zugo, and Falasoph; vintage snaps by Tintype Photobooth; and henna ink by Gypsy Bazaar.
To encourage local retail therapy, the first 100 attendees each day score a free organic tote bag; get to know the makers you'll be shopping and explore this weekend's lineup here.
