Everything's coming full circle for Harper Salon, a stylish new hair studio in West Hollywood brought to us by the same talents behind Steam Salon. After changing hands and addresses over the past several years, the "modern and noncomformist" beauty spot has returned to Harper Avenue at Melrose Avenue, where it's now nabes with men's mani mecca Hammer & Nails and Reformation.
Founded by expert hairstylists Carla Gentile (Steam's former owner), Nicole Hartmann, and Nikki Pittam, Harper Salon is located in the space formerly occupied by interior design company Community & Co.—a fitting move given that the loft-like studio aims to feel "more like a home than a salon." Interior decor touches include reclaimed wood accents from Arbor Exchange, vintage furniture from decor haven MidcenturyLA, and exposed brick walls, offering clients a luxe industrial vibe. The salon focuses solely on maintaining and dressing up tresses—expect cuts ($125 and up), color services ($100 to $350 and up), steam treatments ($55 and up), blowouts ($75 and up), and relaxing treatments like Keratin and straightening ($350 and up).
Check out the full list of services here and book an appointment by calling (323) 931-0066.
Harper Salon is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm; closed Monday.
